The Osmo Base’s camera recognizes these physical pieces and translates them into the app. In ABCs, kids form letters and hear their sounds and names, building phonics skills. In Squiggle Magic, any shape they create comes to life with animations, rewarding imagination. The system provides real-time audio and visual feedback, allowing kids to learn through trial and error without pressure.

The set is compatible with a very broad range of devices. For iPad, any model running iOS 15 or later from iPad 5th generation upwards works, including all recent iPad Pro, Air, and mini models. For Fire Tablet, it supports Fire 7 (9th and 12th gen), Fire HD 8 (8th, 10th, 12th, and 14th gen), Fire HD 10 (9th, 11th, and 13th gen), and Fire Max 11, running Fire OS 7 through 8.
