The Byhoo Upgrade DND AOE Damage Maker is a 4-in-1 set of transparent acrylic templates that let you quickly mark the area of effect for spells in Line, Cone, Cube, or Sphere shapes. Designed for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, these markers replace paper-and-pen calculations with a simple placement over the caster’s token. The set covers 5 ft, 10 ft, 15 ft, and 20 ft radii for spheres; 10 ft, 20 ft, and 30 ft cubes; and 15 ft and 30 ft cones. It comes with a felt gift bag and a cleaning cloth to keep the acrylic clear.

How the 4-in-1 AOE Marker Works

The kit includes a single marker board that works for all four spell shapes. Line templates use the red circle’s mathematical property: every point on the circle is the same distance from the center. By aligning the center over the caster, you can measure radius-based spells like fireball (sphere), cone spells like prismatic spray, and cube spells like fire storm. The board is printed with 5 ft grid markings following 5e rules, so you place the center and read the affected area directly from the pattern.

  • Line: No printed markings – use the red circle’s equal-distance rule for any distance (scale 1″ = 5 ft)

How do you use the line template if it has no markings?

The line shape uses a geometric principle: the red circular pattern on the marker has a constant radius from the center. For line spells, you align the center over the caster and measure the distance to the target along the red circle’s edge. Because the circle’s radius is fixed, any point on that edge is the same distance away – so you can quickly tell if an enemy falls within the line’s range. The board does not have printed line markers because the circle itself serves as a distance reference for any straight-line effect.
